Bumble Bee unveils retro design

Bumble Bee Foods has introduced a new series of tuna products featuring "throwback" labeling reminiscent of Bumble Bee products from the 1950s.

The products, described as the company's Heritage Pack, are designed to be simple and nostalgic, as a reminder of the brand's past and the current products' simple ingredients.

"This back-to-basics approach is a focus for Bumble Bee as we continue to provide the highest quality seafood with wholesome, clean ingredients," said Bumble Bee President and CEO, Chris Lischewski.

The company plans to launch the products with digital, radio and in-store advertisements. The company also plans to remake its 1970s commercial with a giant Bumble Bee balloon and jingle, along with short videos featuring Richard Simmons, Mike Epps and L.L. Cool J.
